  1.      Buttons, broadsides, and banners sang out the virtues of "Tippecanoe and Tyler too" for Harrison and  his running  mate  John Tyler. It is often called the first modern campaign. What many did not know was this: "Tippecanoe" was really born, at Berkeley plantation, one of Virginia's finest estates.
